Design Thoughts

A deep forest offers many interesting challenges to combat.

  • The 'fly' feature in TaleSpire can represent characters who can climb up into the branches (either for escape or combat advantage).
  • Large creatures may find it difficult to chase their prey.
  • A leap over the stream could result in an epic success, or soggy failure.
  • Weak creatures are suddenly very deadly when using hit-and-run tactics.
