Wachterhaus Curse of Strahd cover with TaleSpire miniatures around the mansion dining table

Curse of Strahd - Wachterhaus - TaleSpire Edition

Virtual Tabletop Journey and all Demongund patrons present the iconic Curse of Strahd - Wachterhaus, recreated for use in TaleSpire! This map was made possible by the Castle Ravenloft - TaleSpire Edition Kickstarter. Thanks so much for your support!

Choose Game Ready for actual play, with hide volumes Hidden for your session or Revealed to learn the layout. The Full Artistic version is for viewing and reference; the author does not recommend it for actual play. Open the matching TalesTavern listing below to get your board import.

The Book Includes

Please visit the product page at DMsguild.com to Pay What You Want (defaults to free) for a full PDF containing alternate room descriptions, assembly instructions and other board information.

The book contains revised room descriptions which enhances the original Curse of Strahd module, which you must obtain separately. If you are just starting your campaign, I also recommend getting a Guide to the Curse of Strahd campaign.

  • 20 rooms with revised descriptions
  • Full color, orthographic, reference maps for room identification
  • Details about the challenges of converting 2D maps to 3D
  • Instructions for using hide volumes and smoothly transitioning players through the map

Variant Maps Available

  • Game Ready - Hide Volumes Hidden: ready to get your party into the action.
  • Game Ready - Hide Volumes Revealed: lets the GM get familiar with the hide-volume layout before a session.
  • Full Artistic - Hide Volumes Revealed: the complete artistic showcase, not the recommended gameplay version.

All three boards are available through the TalesTavern buttons above. They are complete alternatives, not slabs you need to assemble.

The source also offers the Full House Slab and Floors Slab for the original slab workflow.
