Curse of Strahd - Yester Hill

Virtual Tabletop Journey presents the iconic Curse of Strahd - Yester Hill, recreated for use in TaleSpire! This map was made possible by the Castle Ravenloft - TaleSpire Edition Kickstarter. Thanks so much for your support!

Explore Baldrax's vast landscape, with winding paths climbing from the forest to the hilltop ritual site. Choose the Full board for the entire setting, or the Reduced board with the larger, lower forest section removed, which may make play easier.

Boards and Variants

  • Full: the complete landscape, including the lower forest. The source describes 1.4 miles of pathing across this vast setting.
  • Reduced: an alternative board with the larger, lower forest section removed. Choose this version if you prefer a more focused play area.

These are complete alternative board imports, not two slabs you need to assemble. The gallery includes labeled Full and Reduced board overviews for comparison.

Board Features

  • Environment blocks for morning, noon, sunset and moonlight.
  • A vast hillside landscape with winding trails, a stone circle and a dead grove.
  • Alternate wicker-statue slabs for before and after the ritual, including the destroyed statue.

Swapping the Wicker Statue

Use the alternate statue slabs to change the ritual site during play. The gallery includes the red-tile alignment example and before/after views.

  1. Align the corners of a selection box with the hidden red tiles around the statue slab, as shown in the alignment screenshot.
  2. Delete or cut that selection to remove the current statue slab.
  3. Copy and paste the other slab into the same position.

The board-overview screenshots show the spare slabs beside the main landscape.
