Curse of Strahd - Werewolf Den

Virtual Tabletop Journey and all VTT Journey patrons present the iconic Curse of Strahd - Werewolf Den, recreated for use in TaleSpire! With only a few quick clicks, your adventurers can track their quarry to its werewolfy lair! 🐺

Choose the Game Ready board with hide volumes hidden from TalesTavern, or directly import the Hide Volumes Revealed version to inspect the layout. Explore the wolf-head entrance, cavern pool and rocky mountaintop in the gallery.

Board Versions

These are two alternative complete boards, not slabs you need to assemble:

  • Game Ready - Hide Volumes Hidden: get the session-ready version from its dedicated TalesTavern listing.
  • Hide Volumes Revealed: use the direct TaleSpire button to examine the hide-volume layout. This variant does not have its own dedicated TalesTavern page.

The screenshots include the full terrain overview and a closer view of the circular clearing above the den.

The Book Includes

The Werewolf Den companion PDF at DMsGuild is Pay What You Want and contains alternate room descriptions and other board information.

  • One revised room description that accurately reflects the room visible to players.
  • Details about the challenges of converting 2D maps to 3D.

That's about it: the map isn't very complicated!

The PDF enhances the original Curse of Strahd module, which you must obtain separately. If you are just starting your campaign, the source also recommends A Guide to the Curse of Strahd campaign.
